At Digital Frontdesk, safety comes first. That’s why the Overview feature is an essential part of DFD Plus.
You instantly see who is inside your building – employees, visitors and suppliers. You can access this information in two ways:
- Via the kiosk: tap overview, enter your security code and immediately access the full list of current visitors.
- Via your online portal: including extra features such as date selection, visitor type filters or exporting the list.
With this complete 360° overview, you enhance safety, manage peak times more effectively and keep visitor flow running smoothly.
After checking in – manually or via an invitation – visitors can easily navigate your building.
Not sure where you need to be in the building?
No need to worry. With the Wayfinding feature, you can easily navigate through your building. This function is available directly on the screen of your digital reception kiosk.
Simply tap Wayfinding and choose from a clear list of available rooms and zones. Select your destination, and an on-screen instruction message will guide you step by step to the correct location.
This way, you arrive relaxed, confident and without unnecessary detours at the right spot.
Send an invitation to your visitor in advance
When planning a meeting, the DFD Plus system automatically sends an email to your visitor containing a QR code and PIN code.
Upon arrival, the visitor simply scans the QR code or enters the PIN. The host is notified instantly.
How does it work?
Your business email address must be registered in the DFD Plus system
Send a regular meeting invite via Outlook or Google Calendar
Include your visitor’s details and a special email address linked to the kiosk
Your visitor receives an automatic email with all check-in instructions – ensuring a smooth arrival before they even step inside.
Receive an invitation in advance
Visitors no longer need to fill in lengthy forms or wait at the front desk.
Thanks to DFD Plus, your host has already registered you in the system and you have received an invitation email.
In this email you receive:
– Date and time of the appointment
– Address of the location
– A personal QR code and PIN code for instant check-in
Scanning the QR code automatically notifies the host of your arrival – fast, simple and stress-free.
