Welcome to Digital Frontdesk, part of 2Orange B.V. General terms and conditions – Digital Frontdesk

1. Application

These general terms and conditions apply to all quotations, agreements, and deliveries related to the digital reception service ‘Digital Frontdesk’ provided by 2Orange B.V., unless otherwise agreed in writing. 

2. Services

‘Digital Frontdesk’ includes:

  • Digital reception software (cloud-based)
  • Any associated hardware, such as tablets or kiosk
  • Installation and configuration services
  • Hosting and regular updates
  • Maintenance and support
  • Optional integrations or customisation

3. Offers and Prices

  • All quotations are non-binding and remain valid for 30 days, unless stated otherwise.

  • Prices are exclusive of VAT and any installation or transport costs, which are specified separately.

  • Offers don’t automatically apply to future orders.

4. Delivery and Installation

  • Delivery times are indicative. Delays don’t entitle to compensation.

  • The client is responsible for a correct technical infrastructure on site.

  • Digital Frontdesk / 2Orange provides installation on the basis of previously agreed arrangements.

5. Use and Licence

  • The customer is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the software.

  • Redistribution, reverse engineering or copying (in whole or in part) of the software is strictly prohibited.

  • Licences are specific to the individual user and/or location, unless otherwise agreed in writing. 

6. Support and Maintenance

  • Support is provided during regular office hours, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Software is automatically updated via the cloud environment.

  • Digital Frontdesk / 2Orange reserves the right to adjust or improve functionalities.

  • If required, a separate Service Level Agreement (SLA) can be concluded with specific agreements on response times, availability and support levels.

7. Customer responsibilities

  • The customer himself is responsible for correct data entry in the system. 

  • If camera images or visitor registration are used, the customer must ensure compliance with the AVG and provide visitors with correct information. 

8. Liability

  • Digital Frontdesk / 2Orange is only liable for direct damage, up to a maximum of the amount of the last invoice for the service in question.

  • Digital Frontdesk / 2Orange is not liable for indirect damage, such as consequential damage, lost profits, or data loss.

9. Payment

  • The payment term is 14 days from the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • In the event of late payment, statutory interest will be charged without prior notice.

  • Title to any delivered hardware remains with Digital Frontdesk / 2Orange B.V. until full payment has been received.

10. Term and Termination

  • Subscriptions are concluded per 12 months, unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Termination must be communicated in writing no later than 1 month before the end of the current contract period.

  • No refunds will be made in the provided of early termination.

11. Privacy and Data Processing

  • Digital Frontdesk / 2Orange processes personal data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations (see our privacy statement).

  • Where applicable, a processing agreement is concluded with the customer. 

12. Intellectual property and Use of images

  • All rights to content created or provided by Digital Frontdesk / 2Orange, including visual materials such as photographs, videos, graphics, and screenshots, remain the property of 2Orange B.V., unless otherwise agreed in writing. 

  • It is not permitted to use, publish, or distribution visual materials without the prior written consent of Digital Frontdesk / 2Orange. 

  • For permitted use it must be clear and visible attribution must be provided, such “Source: Digital Frontdesk” or “Image: 2Orange”.

  • Any violation of these provisions may result in a claim for damages and legal action. 

13. Force Majeure

In the event of force majeure (including, but not limited to, power outages, internet disruptions, pandemics, or government measures), Digital Frontdesk / 2Orange shall be entitled to suspend the performance of its obligations under the agreement, without any liability for damages. 

14. Applicable law and Disputes

  • These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law.

  • Disputes are preferably resolved by mutual agreement.

  • If necessary, the dispute will be submitted to the competent court in Rotterdam.
